The First Presbyterian Home Goods Community Pantry is open on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Items offered to the community will include the following household essentials: Paper towels (2-pack), toilet paper (4-pack), tissues (small pack), trash bags (10-count), dish soap (one bottle), laundry detergent, and disinfectant wipes.

We are currently accepting donations for our pantry, specifically for the items listed above. Cash donations are also welcomed. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

Please mark your calendars and come to our weekly Bible discussion class every Tuesday at 10:00am in the library. Pastor Jeff will lead the study. Expect coffee and refreshments!

We are calling all members, visitors, and friends of First Presbyterian Church to a time of prayer for our congregation as we discern the future of First Presbyterian. This will include
the provision of prayer guides and a series of events focused on God's call to us as First Presbyterian Church in this modern world.

The Waynesboro Symphony Orchestra Chamber Music Fall Concert will take place Saturday, November 14, at 7:00pm in our sanctuary. The concert is free, and donations
are gratefully accepted. All are welcome!

The Session Fall Retreat will take place on Sunday, November 15, from 2:00-5:00pm at Scott & Sharon Wilson’s home.

We will be decorating the sanctuary for Advent & Christmas on Tuesday, November 24
at 6:00pm. We will have pizza and dessert at 5:30pm. Everyone is encouraged to attend. Many hands make light work. Please join us for this fun annual tradition!

It’s that time of year again! If you would like to remember or honor a loved one at Christmas, we will have the poinsettias again during the Advent season. An insert will be in the bulletin by which you can give the name or names of the person(s) you wish to remember. Then put your check (made out to First Presbyterian Church) in the collection plate and mark it “Christmas flowers.” The deadline for donating, and to be published in our bulletin insert, is Monday, November 23. beautiful during this special season!

The deadline for submissions for the December 2026 issue of First Impressions is Thursday, November 12. The early deadline is due to the fact that Heidi will be off starting Wednesday, November 25 for Thanksgiving week. Please submit any info you would like to include by then. Thank you!

The church offices will be closed Thursday, November 26 and Friday, November 27 for Thanksgiving. Heidi will be off Wednesday, November 25. We hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday!

We will have a Christmas lunch immediately following worship on Sunday, December 6 in the fellowship hall. All food and drinks will be provided by the church, so there’s no need to bring anything! Members and friends are asked to RSVP to Heidi at stauntonfirst@gmail.com or 540-886-0704 by Tuesday, December 1, so we will know how much food is needed. We will have a fully catered event this year. All are welcome!
