The First Presbyterian Home Goods Community Pantry is open on the 3rd Wednesday of each month. Items offered to the community will include the following household essentials: Paper towels (2-pack), toilet paper (4-pack), tissues (small pack), trash bags (10-count), dish soap (one bottle), laundry detergent, and disinfectant wipes.

 

We are currently accepting donations for our pantry, specifically for the items listed above. Cash donations are also welcomed. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!

 

 

Please mark your calendars and come to our weekly Bible discussion class every Tuesday at 10:00am in the library. Pastor Jeff will lead the study. Expect coffee and refreshments!

We are calling all members, visitors, and friends of First Presbyterian Church to a time of prayer for our congregation as we discern the future of First Presbyterian. This will include
the provision of prayer guides and a series of events focused on God's call to us as First Presbyterian Church in this modern world.

 

This year,  our church is collecting donations on Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday for One Great Hour of Sharing (OGHS) to help Presbyterian ministries end hunger and poverty, provide assistance after disaster strikes, work with sustainable community development, and support immigrants, migrants, and refugees. More information on giving electronically will appear in bulletin inserts on those Sundays. Please write OGHS in the memo line on checks or on envelopes for cash donations.  We thank you for witnessing to the repairing love of God in Jesus Christ through One Great Hour of Sharing.

You are cordially invited to our second annual Agape Meal, “Love Feast” - a simple meal of finger foods shared in a cozy family setting, very similar to the way Christ dined with his disciples in the upper room at the Last Supper.

 

Please help by contributing a small amount of one of the following foods:

 

If your last name is from A to L:

Nuts, grapes, baby carrots, figs or dates

 

If your last name is from M to Z:

Olives, hummus, plain crackers, crusty bread—sliced and cut into small pieces

 

The meal begins 6:00pm in the library (please arrive 10 minutes early so trays can be assembled).

 

At 6:30pm, we will go into the chapel for the Maundy Thursday service.
